DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Sunday\, October 7th\, from 2 – 4 pm to celebrate the candidacy of Cindi Reiss for the Peralta Board of Trustees. \nAs a faculty member in Peralta\, I believe that Cindi’s 20 years in the community college system\, as an instructor\, academic senate leader\, and accreditation commissioner (ACCJC)\, demonstrates that she has the experience and energy necessary to steward our four colleges into the future (Laney\, Alameda\, Merritt\, and Berkeley City). \nMore importantly\, she promises to fight for transparent budgeting and decision-making\, so that the Board can ensure that tax-payer dollars go to support those who most need it: our students. \nWe’ll have activities for kids\, food for noshing\, and drinks to be merry.
