Please join us on\u00a0Sunday, October 7th, from 2 – 4 pm<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0to celebrate the candidacy of\u00a0Cindi Reiss<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0for the\u00a0Peralta Board of Trustees<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As a faculty member in Peralta, I\u00a0believe that Cindi’s 20 years in the community college system, as an instructor, academic senate leader, and accreditation commissioner (ACCJC), demonstrates that she has\u00a0the experience and energy necessary to steward our\u00a0four colleges into the future (Laney, Alameda, Merritt, and Berkeley City).<\/p>\n

More importantly, she promises to fight for transparent budgeting and decision-making, so that the Board can ensure that\u00a0tax-payer dollars go to\u00a0support those who most need it: our students.<\/p>\n

We’ll have activities for kids, food for noshing, and drinks to be merry. We\u00a0hope that you can stop by to chat\u00a0and meet Cindi!<\/p>\n
