{"id":1885,"date":"2017-01-30T22:14:26","date_gmt":"2017-01-30T22:14:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pft1603.org\/?p=1885"},"modified":"2017-02-06T18:18:26","modified_gmt":"2017-02-06T18:18:26","slug":"cft-convention-call-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pft1603.org\/?p=1885","title":{"rendered":"CFT Convention Call 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The 75th Annual Convention of the California Federation of Teachers, \u201cOrganize, Resist\u201d has been called to convene at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento in Sacramento from March 31- April 2, 2017.\u00a0 The Peralta Federation of Teachers can send as many as 29 delegates to this convention. The ten delegates with the highest votes, in addition to the PFT President, will be reimbursed up to $500 (2 nights) or $350 (1 night) for documented convention-related expenses (allocations have been made for 5 full-time faculty and 5 part-time faculty to attend).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>NOMINATIONS FOR DELEGATES TO<br \/>\nTHE CFT CONVENTION<\/strong><strong> ARE NOW OPEN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><u>Nominees <em>and<\/em> the person nominating them <em>must be<\/em> current dues-paying members of the PFT<\/u><\/strong>. If you\u2019re not sure you are a member, contact the PFT office (phone: 510-763-8820). Please make certain that whoever you nominate is willing and able to attend the convention, and is a PFT dues-paying member.
