This program is in effect during the regular academic year only. It excludes summer session and intersession.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Faculty must submit their &#8220;Request to Participate in Office Hour form&#8221; to their Division Dean every semester, by the end of the first week of instruction. They must also attach their syllabus.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Office Hours shall be defined as follows:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>1)\u00a0Face-to face classes: office hours shall be on campus (or at location where class is held) at a designated time and location.<\/div>\n<div>2)\u00a0Online classes: office hours shall be online at a designated time.<\/div>\n<div>3)\u00a0Hybrid classes:\u00a0office hours may be either online at a designated time and location.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Participation in the program shall be based on the following instructional assignment formula:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>INSTRUCTIONAL LOAD PAID OFFICE HOURS<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>0-2.99 equated hours= 0 office hours to be paid out<\/div>\n<div>3-5.99 equated hours= 1 paid office hour a week<\/div>\n<div>6 or more equated hours= 2 paid office hours a week<\/div>\n<div><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>Equated hours can be figured out, as follows:<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>1 lab hour= .8 equated hour<\/div>\n<div>1 lecture hour= 1 equated hour<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/pft1603.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/A.33-Form-to-Participate-in-Office-Hour.pdf\">A.33 Form to Participate in Office Hour<\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/pft1603.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Overview-of-Tentative-Agreement.pdf\">Overview of Tentative Agreement<\/a><\/div>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Effective F17, part-time instructional faculty will be compensated for office hours at their non-instructional rate for full semester classes.
