Please make sure your nominee is a dues-paying member in good standing of the union and willing to run. <a>Part-time faculty who serve on the Executive Council are eligible for up to 16 hours per month for up to 4.5 months per semester of paid service according to the non-instructional extra service salary schedule as a consultant. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of\nthe Executive Council have the overall responsibility of decision-making for\nthe PFT.&nbsp; Elected members of the Council\ninclude the Officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer), the\nCampus Chairs (two from each campus), and the Committee Chairs (Career and\nTechnical Education Representative, Part-Timer Representatives (two Co-Representatives,\nand Diversity Representative). Each Council member is required to attend PFT\nExecutive Council Meetings, which are generally on the first and third Thursday\nof each month in regular session (though extra or emergency meetings are\nsometimes called at anytime). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please be certain that your\nnominees wish to run for these positions, verifying their willingness with\nsignatures.&nbsp; Please only nominate the\nCampus and Committee chairs that apply to you.&nbsp;\nPlease also be certain that your nominees are PFT members in good standing\nand qualified for the positions.
