You are cordially invited to participate in the Intergroup Dialogues Workshops this semester. The 12-hour workshop will take place on four (4) Fridays from 1:00-4:00pm on February 19 and 26 and March 5 and 12.
Intergroup Dialogues will be facilitated talks that are meant to build trust, strengthen relationships in our community, and communicate more effectively.

The 78th Convention of the California Federation of Teachers is hereby called to convene online on Friday, March 26, 2020, at the hour of 9 a.m. and will remain in session two days or until such time as it has given full consideration to such matters as legally may be brought before it.

The biennial CFT Convention is the highest policymaking body of the Federation. The union’s vitality and democracy depend upon participation in the Convention by delegates from locals in good standing.
The constitutional provisions for CFT Conventions have been adopted to ensure CFT members are represented in the policy-making of their union. Delegates will elect the CFT President, Secretary Treasurer and 24 Vice Presidents, plus delegates to the AFT Convention 2022 and the California Labor Federation Convention 2022. Delegates will also vote on important resolutions and constitutional amendments.
Nominations are now open for elected Peralta Federation of Teachers delegates to the convention.

SUBJECT: 2021 Election of Delegates to the CFT Convention
The 78th Annual Convention of the California Federation of Teachers has been called to convene virtually from March 26-27, 2021. The Peralta Federation of Teachers can send as many as 29 delegates to this convention.
NOMINATIONS FOR DELEGATES TO THE CFT CONVENTION ARE NOW OPEN
Nominees and the person nominating them must be current dues-paying members of the PFT. If you’re not sure you are a member, contact the PFT office by email at union@pft1603.org. Please make certain that whoever you nominate is willing and able to attend the convention and is a PFT dues-paying member. Self-nominations are acceptable and encouraged.
All nominations must be received to PFT no later than 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
You may return nominations by US mail or email (scan your form). If you miss the deadline for nominations, you will still have the opportunity to insert your nominees as write-in candidates on the official ballot, which will be mailed to your home. *If you have recently changed your mailing address, please contact the PFT with the correct address.
