The Member Emergency Relief Fund (MERF), was designed for part-time faculty who are experiencing a hardship as a result of assignment reductions. Union members can apply for up to $500 in emergency assistance, which will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis in accordance with the criteria detailed on the MERF application.
