The Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Center is hosting the Barbara Lee and Elihu Harris Lecture Series with guest speaker House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, on Friday, February 21st, at 7:00 pm at the Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts, Calvin Simons Theatre. The Majority Leader will be addressing Dr. King’s seminal question which is so very relevant today – Where do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community? — with his new book, which is in many ways a charter on the state of our democracy. It is free and requests an RSVP.
